Indian Head Massage

This consists of techniques to the scalp, head, shoulders upper back and face, Indian head massage has many physiological benefits. 

 

It helps to ease depression and headaches and reduces anxiety, also taking away stiffness and tightness in the shoulders and neck and upper back.  

 

Stroking, tapping, kneading of the head, and rubbing of the shoulders are used in this massage, Indian Head massage also helps and alleviates tension and stress that can build up over time and is ideal for people who sit at a desk and use a screen daily.  

Swedish Body Massage

This is a lovely massage and releases tension in the muscles and leaves the recipient feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, during this massage tensions are released form the muscle groups. This also reduces stress and anxiety as well as general aches and pains. 

 

The massage starts with long petrissage strokes that firstly warms up the muscles, then with kneading and hacking and cupping, this encourages the blood to flow and allows stress and tension in the muscles to be released. Different pressures are applied to different parts of the body using a combination of light and medium pressure.  

Oncology Massage

Oncology massage is a specialised technique for people who have had or are receiving treatment for cancer.

Oncology massage is an adapted massage technique the benefits of which include deeper sleep, relaxation, and also assisting in relieving pain and fatigue, nausea and anxiety.

​

Treatments are modified to cater for the full range of cancer related issues, including the emotional and physical aspects of it, and being diagnosed with it including the side effects that are associated by receiving cancer treatment.

Oncology massage is also a very relaxing massage and can help to alleviate tension in the muscles and brain fog so as to allow the recipient to become more relaxed and to focus on and pinpoint what they need for their own wellbeing and personal path back to recovery.
